Gregory Logan Douds, M.D. was born and raised in Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. After obtaining his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he moved on to complete his neurological surgery residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
While at Penn State, Dr. Douds also completed an Enfolded Endovascular Fellowship and a term as Chief Resident, followed immediately by a combined Microvascular and Endovascular Fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Following this fellowship, Dr. Douds came to Las Vegas, Nevada and he is currently on staff at LVNI Center for Brain and Spine Surgery. Dr. Douds has also taught in and published multiple publications in his field.
At Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites, Dr. Douds offers patients a minimally-invasive outpatient spine surgery alternative to hospital surgery, designed to assist them in getting back to a normal lifestyle as soon as possible. Douds’ extensive experience with spinal conditions – including (but not limited to) low back pain, Sciatica, Lumbar Fusion, Disc Replacement, Spinal Cord Stimulator, Discectomy, Radiculopathy, Myelopathy, Lumbar and Cervical Stenosis – makes him exceptionally qualified to pursue this outpatient option for his patients, essentially pioneering this option in the Las Vegas valley.
During his downtime, Dr. Douds enjoys participating in a variety of sports and other activities. He resides in Henderson, Nevada with his wife, Staci, and his dog, Winston.
