Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician
Dr. Mike Crovetti was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. He pursued his undergraduate work at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. As quarterback of Albright’s football team for four years, his college football injuries sparked the interest in the Orthopedic career he has now chosen.
From college, he attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His internship was completed at the same University. He left New Jersey to complete an Orthopedic Residency in Dayton, Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Crovetti completed an additional year of training, called a fellowship, specifically in Adult Reconstruction of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder. His practice today focuses on Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine procedures of the Hip and Knee. He has extensive experience in complex surgeries of these areas.
Finally, Dr. Crovetti moved to practice orthopedics in Las Vegas. In 2000, he founded Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. His goal is to give his patients an out of hospital experience in a state of the art facility. This goal has been realized recently with the opening of the the Coronado Surgery Center and the Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites. In addition to his daily practice, he has and will continue to develop innovative surgical instrumentation and devices. Grateful for the education he has received, he has now dedicated his career to training surgeons in Las Vegas/Henderson and from around the world.
Dr. Crovetti is a resident of Henderson, Nevada. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including boating, snowboarding, golf, etc… The remainder of his time is spent relaxing with his wife as they enjoy the life of empty nesters and celebrate the lives of their three children.
